We have 10 years of experience in all walks of this business. We customize, design, construct and provide you with all the necessary tools to get your site off the ground, both, on the web and visually.
WordPress custom websites
Our websites are all built around the WordPress content management system. Marshall Designs feels that WordPress is one of the best tools out there for blogging or just, basically, getting your word out quickly. Wordpress CMS has tools that work for you and not against you, as it tends to talk loudly online, so-to-say, with these tools. We mean that, with WordPress, you have the ability to use social media affectively and you have the ability to get indexed on Google, Yahoo, or Bing (three of the most popular currently) more quickly and more pronounced, as there are tools that are automated, giving you freedom while your site is working.
You can customize any theme. Marshall Designs just uses them for their ready-made functionality, such as the widgets (seperate sections that you fit in the sidebars or footer areas, adding functions such as social media, newsletter or search and many other things.) Design is not a problem, as you can customize a ready-theme or we can design a theme from ground up. Of course, cost is affected by full custom sites compared to ready-themes and time of completion is longer with full custom, but we always try to work with you on your budget.
Custom Logos
Logos are custom to your ideas. We take examples from you and turn them into something that would be ideal for your business or personal website. You get up to 5 proofs and we will save them in various file extensions for printing and advertising. To be honest, we don’t stop until you are happy, but we have to put a limit on proofs, so we strive to make sure that we design you something that works for you within that amount. Basically, we assure you that your logo will look nice by the time we are done.
We use state-of-the-art programs to design your logo(s). We know that branding your name/business is the most important aspect, so it’s nice to have a logo that sings, of course, without it, nobody would know who you were. Most of the human race remember things visually, so we try to make every logo appealing to the eye and give you a crisp and clean logo that is fitting and adequate for your needs!
Website Maintenance & Organic SEO
We provide month-to-month or 6 month website maintenance plans for a great price! $60/month on a month-to-month plan and $50 ($300 up front) for a 6 month plan. It might sound like a lot, maybe not? One thing we have to express, though, is without it, if you don’t know what you are doing, you could really mess things up more or pay a whole lot more for someone else in a big firm, unlike ourselves, to fix any problems or add pages, etc. There are limits set on how much can be done, but, trust me, it’s enough. We make our clients very happy, as we get things done quickly and running better than they did prior. We weed out all options to break it down to a final answer and fix it.
Organic SEO (search engine optimization) is another service we provide. It is added to the maintenance plan, but can be done separately, as well. If done separately, we would have to quote based on how much time it takes to complete the job.
Organic SEO is, basically, the adding of certain root elements that the search engines/spiders/crawlers like to see. It helps your website to become indexed quicker. We focus on several things like meta tags including keywords/description/titles/etc and things like keyword density (the adding of keywords in the body of your text that are also in your meta tag keyword list), Submission of your url to several important directories (google, yahoo, bing, dmoz, etc), back linking (sharing your link on another persons site as you share their link on your site) and several other things. Organically speaking, your site will take about 1 – 3 months to finally get recognized, so it’s not like buying advertising, because if you paid for your advertising on, say, Google, it will get you there faster, but you have to think “ROOTS”, you want those website ROOTS to grow into a big website tree, you have to start by adding the key and root elements in order to proceed. Without organic SEO on your site, even paid advertising won’t help, as your site has to have these things implemented.
